I'm not suprised at all...

Taken from Mingguan Malaysia; Sunday, 10th May 2009:

Ulasan:

I am not suprised at all. This is the kind of attitude we can expect from PEMBUAT KACAU which is PLENTIFUL today. Next time, I suggest people like this be banished from this country(instead of ISA) through this kind of method; strap a parachute on him, put him on a plane to the place of banishment and jump-kick him out of the plane. Pandai-pandai lar survive. Frankly I am tired with people with this kind of attitude. MACAM MELEPASKAN ANJING TERSEPIT. Memang anjing pun. Amik ko. Orang kesian kat bini dan anak-anak dia.

Walaupun aku kurang setuju dan a little bit pissed off dengan dia punya attitude dan fahaman extremis-nya, tapi sedikit sebanyak aku faham situasi mamat tu.

Dia ditahan selama beberapa bulan atas 'alleged crime' kemudian secara tiba-tiba, dia dilepaskan apabila pimpinan negara bertukar tangan, tanpa didakwa.

If he really is dangerous, wouldn't he'll able to continue to plot for whatever evil plans he has or had after this? Why release him in the first place then?

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that there is something really wrong with the picture.

What happened to the "innocent until proven guilty" clause?

Atleast diaorang punya Patriot Act takde lah tangkap orang buat rally ataupun open speech.

Bak kata pepatah - Kuman di seberang laut nampak, gajah di depan mata tak nampak.

Surely we can suppress people from speaking out, but for how long? A dormant volcano pun eventually explodes.

p.s.: As much as I love peace, I'd hate a police state. Darah muda kot. Takpun terikut budaya parents kita masa zaman 70's - Hippies. :P

although i don't know very well how the ISA works (except the deterrent part where it is necessary to apprehend the trouble maker before he causes further damage) but surely he had done the damage before being apprehended, inciting hatred and uttering slanders. IMHO, the gov released him after he promised that he will not be a trouble maker again. looks like they were mistaken.

i agree that freedom of speech should not be suppressed, and you surely can see from opposition newspapers, ceramah yg hampir setiap malam diadakan; adakah ini suppression of freedom of speech? i don't agree that you are implying we're having a police state here, opposition kita kat sini bebas mengutuk anggota politik kerajaan secara terbuka, that's a hell freedom of speech!

masalahnya setengah2 orang2 malaysia ni bila berdemonstrasi diorang ni melampaui batas. ingat lagi 13 May, 1998 dan start of Perak Constitutional Crisis? this is when the "so called freedom to express oneself" mula menyusahkan org2 lain yg for some reasons decide to keep their political inclinations to themselves.

nah, my dad was in the armed forces when he was my age, i bet his militaristic blood is flowing inside me right now :)
