Yup, 27 today. I really meant what I put at my FB status. 27 but feels like 17. Don't let appearance fools you. All the 27-40 male demographics are still boys. Even when we have kids, we are still boys. Only the resposibility to family life binds us to reality, but thats it. Deep down, every macho man, every prideful lions and every braggers are actually boys at heart. To all wifes out there, you know how your man behaves right? They are worse when they are 'free' of you :p
2 years ago when I reached 25 I promised myself that I will fix some of my weaknesses and fullfill some dreams that I was thinking back there. After a little walk of reflection yesterday (drive actually), I realized that I've got so much more to do. I promised myself that I will be happily married by 28 (next year? wow, time flies) which was pushed to 30 because of financial concerns of myself and my family, I vow to cure myself of 'anxiety when around lots of people' but I merely contained it and I dreamed to start becoming an entreprenaur and own my own business, but all that I have know is skills that I used seldomly to earn me some RMs now and then.
But in spite of all this I still hold on to the word of wisdom; "Kita hanya merancang, Tuhan juga menentukan". So I'm not too worried not having to fullfill all my wishes just after 2 short years. These things take time and remember that God has charted all the path of our lives, but of course we have to made it happen. But just don't be too hard on ourselves when it didn't go as planned. Give it time and have a lots of patience. This is what I reminded myself everytime.
Dah bunyi macam pep talk lar pulak :p Anyway it's 12.15 am already and I got a long day tomorrow so until next time...

Of July posting...
I have neglected my blog for 2 months. I missed the posting for June and for July it is almost at the end of the month.
Now, work updates. The project which I am tied for my contract will end this coming December. Basically most of the buildings have already be constructed and now what's left are cabling and wiring works. Also installation of window panes and doors and permanent utilities. I and my superior have made it our habit to go to KL every 15th of the month for software evaluation and since many ICT equipments are already in place; go for site inspection every week. So workload has increase tenfold not to mention the ICT unit are expected to dish out fancy niceties that uses computer to create for every occasion that JKR Selangor has. Can't complain, well won't complain because we are just mercenaries that get paid to be cannon fodders eh? :) Anyway, by end of Decembers its either pack your things up or continue to work there; which I don't care very much which is which. You will get job if you are willing to work hard enough.
Love life updates. I am still as hopeless as Mr Bean on love life. Some of my friends will tie up the knot next year and a few has already got engaged (this coming 25th another one). Me? I am still single that is between available and not. Some people will say that you're almost approaching 30; so you cannot be choosy anymore but I beg to differ. My life so its my choice. Right now a girl that I've known for many years has won my heart but unfortunately it seems that I've yet to won her heart. The problem with me is that I am a monogamist :D Well at least I don't do makciks :P
I am thinking of buying a car next year and being a modest income worker, will opt for a local car. Since I always like sedan type of car, Perodua is out of the question (Rafik, sorry dude). So after a lot of thinking, I've arrived to the conclussion; Pesona or Saga? The former is indeed quite powerful with a 1.6 engine but then again a 1.3 engine car will saves fuel in the long run. Decision, decisions...
Politically, I think people who made accusations and assumptions about the death of Teoh Beng Hock (my condolonce to his family) are bullshit. Come on lar, let the police finish up their investigations. If you say that in the end it won't matter because the police will cover it up then you are double bullshit. Just get off my face please. So far Malaysia under Najib is well and making a comeback since the era of Dr M. A hearty clap to the opposition for their internal strife and management problems at states under them. You all did too much politicking than working, padan muka.

Kembalikan hukuman rotan
BATU PAHAT 9 Mei – Hukuman rotan akan diperkenalkan semula ke atas pelajar yang didapati melanggar disiplin, terlibat dalam kes pergaduhan dan buli di sekolah.
Bagaimanapun, menurut Timbalan Menteri Pelajaran, Dr. Mohd. Puad Zarkashi, hukuman tersebut hanya boleh dilaksanakan selepas mendapat persetujuan Peguam Negara.
Katanya, hukuman rotan itu juga jika diluluskan kelak, tidak boleh dilaksanakan sewenang-wenangnya.
Guru-guru yang hendak merotan pelajar, tegas beliau, perlu mematuhi garis panduan dan prosedur yang ditetapkan oleh Peguam Negara.
Langkah berhati-hati itu, katanya, untuk mengelak pihak sekolah atau guru disaman oleh ibu bapa.
‘‘Kita berharap cadangan yang telah dikemukakan kepada Peguam Negara itu mendapat maklum balas sebelum akhir tahun ini.
‘‘Hukuman ini bukan untuk mendera tetapi mendidik para pelajar,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas melancarkan Program Skim Khairat Percuma Sesi 2009/2010 anjuran Parlimen Batu Pahat di Dewan Senggarang di sini, hari ini.
Beliau berkata, walaupun sebelum ini majoriti ibu bapa menyokong agar hukuman merotan dikuatkuasakan semula namun ada beberapa pihak termasuk golongan peguam yang membantahnya.
“Sebab itu sebelum peraturan itu dikuatkuasakan semula, kerajaan merujuk kepada Peguam Negara untuk mendapatkan maklum balas dan cadangan terlebih dahulu,” katanya.

I remembered back when my days at school, rotan punishment is nothing. Tak buat kerja sekolah? WHACK! Ponteng kelas? WHACK! Lawan cikgu? WHACK! Pukul cikgu? WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! Lepas tu buang sekolah.
All teacher's should be immune to being sued by parents for applying the rotan punishment. Semestinya kalau ada cikgu yang terlebih-lebih atau salah guna kuasa (pukul sampai tak ingat dunia or pukul kat tempat-tempat sensitif; kepala, etc) parents boleh buat laporan polis dan biar polis ambil tindakan.

Beliau yang ditahan di bawah Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri (ISA) sejak Disember 2007 mendakwa, penahanannya di bawah akta itu dibuat tidak mengikut undang-undang.
Sehubungan itu, dakwa penasihat undang-undang pertubuhan haram itu, tiada sebab dia perlu berterima kasih kerana tidak melakukan kesalahan.
“Saya berterima kasih kepada penyokong-penyokong dan isteri saya tapi minta maaf, saya tidak akan berterima kasih kepada kerajaan,” katanya.
Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita yang telah menunggunya sejak pukul 11 pagi di Kem Tahanan Kamunting dekat sini hari ini.
Berbeza dengan dua lagi pemimpin Hindraf yang turut dibebaskan iaitu Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Kota Shah Alam, M. Manoharan, 48 dan K. Vasantha Kumar, 36, keadaan Uthayakumar kelihatan tidak terurus.
Ditanya keadaannya itu, Uthayakumar berkata, beliau sengaja tidak menyikat rambut dan janggut serta dibiarkan panjang sebagai tanda protes terhadap ISA.
Sementara itu, Uthayakumar mendakwa, pihak polis bertindak kasar terhadapnya apabila beliau menolak untuk menandatangani surat yang mengandungi syarat-syarat pembebasan.

I am not suprised at all. This is the kind of attitude we can expect from PEMBUAT KACAU which is PLENTIFUL today. Next time, I suggest people like this be banished from this country(instead of ISA) through this kind of method; strap a parachute on him, put him on a plane to the place of banishment and jump-kick him out of the plane. Pandai-pandai lar survive. Frankly I am tired with people with this kind of attitude. MACAM MELEPASKAN ANJING TERSEPIT. Memang anjing pun. Amik ko. Orang kesian kat bini dan anak-anak dia.

Took me 8 years...
I admit I am a late comer. Let me quote a poem from Lat's Mat Som to get a clear picture. "Bila aku berdiri orang duduk, bila orang melepas merpati, aku menabur padi". Ok, I might get it wrong somehow but there's that poem inside that graphic novel, I swear. Just now I watched "The Fast and The Furious" which if you believed; I've never watched it. Not when it came out in 2001. And the folowing 2 movies before Fast and Furious 2009. Aku memang tak pernah tengok cerita-cerita yang mempunyai tajuk Fast and Furious di dalamnya. Ya. Serius. Berapa kali lagi aku nak kata? Ok, takpe, biar korang tertanya-tanya mana aku pegi dalam hampir 8 tahun sejak first cerita tu keluar. I can wait until you all cleared out your curiosity :)
When the movie went out somewhere in 2001, guys around my age and older(the 17-35 age demographic) went crazy about racing-specs Japanese cars. The Supra, RX-7 and other bunch of noisy, fast cars were the talk of the town(still is apparently). I on the other hand, being me; the not into "gempak-present-things-that-is-the-talk-of-the-town" person was slightly aware of it. Yeah, sure I know the movie. Everywhere people talk about it. It made more people aware that Japanese cars(lightly build, low fuel consumption, town rider specs) can actually go toe to toe with established racers from Europe and the US. At a lower price. That's the magic words :)
Back to me, maybe at that time I wasn't into cars. I played pc games a lot during that period (1999-2004) so my focus was on upgrading my gaming rig rather concentrating on things that I can't afford. I maybe sneered a little when my friends start talking about car things(and still is), style of driving(rather than drift or drag on paved road I preffered racing rally style, and yes, still do), auto parts and physics of racing(oh yeah, when they start talking about that I humm a song and try to think something nice :P)
Well people changed when they get older and so do I. I mean I still play games on what free times I had, updating myself on the ICT stuffs so that I can catch up with my work and all, but last few years when I start earning, I started to care for my 16 years old beaten up Wira. I try to educate myself on all thing cars(eventhough my dad always brought me to the workshop since I was 7 to familiarised me with this greasy automobile world), actually understands what the guys was talking about when it came to cars and even read car magazines like Top Gear and such. It took me 8 years to fully appreciate The Fast and The Furious...I am as what they say...a late comer...
Fast and Furious 5 is in development. Paul Walker said, “I’ve spoken with executives at Universal at this point and they’re pretty serious about it. They’re developing it. They know where they want it to take place. They want to do it in Europe.” Vin Diesel has also stated that he always planned to make two more films. "I try to think out the story even before we go to shoot the film that's at hand," he said. "So, yes I had been thinking about it. I actually thought of shooting both of the movies back-to-back with Universal with the president of Universal and he was like, 'What? We're just getting our feet back together.'

Fuh, penat but still standing with head high in defiance :)
I am very tired, physically and mentally, this few weeks. Having best friends that acts like a**hole every now and then did not help at all, as well as missing her all the time while she doesn't seem to care at all brought me down more (I can't help it, I'm stubborn and only just human :)) Jogging at the lake twice a week contributed to the physical tiredness and work, oh the amount of work keeps me on the edge. Furthermore, education came calling, this year I must continue to my degree or else that fragments of motivation to further my studies will slowly dissipates and will not return.
I've done some thinking lately; am I too nice? Being an overall nice guy seems to bring good to the environment and society but inside it does not feel nice at all; at least not most of the time. Shall I be the insensitive prick who only thinks of himself and use people for their own selfish reason or shall I assume the uncaring attitude and becoming someone who does not give f**ks to everything and anything? Or shall I be a little bit of both and add to the world another a**hole to ruin someone's life and day? Please Allah, I don't want to be jaded like this, give me strength to overcome the obstacles in my life and give me extra, extra patience to deal with a**holes everywhere :p Yeah, I'm not as much as a saint but I don't think I ever hurt others feeling or like the Malay says all the time "tak suka menyusahkan orang lain" :)
And now KJ has won the coveted UMNO Youth leadership and everything becoming bleak more and more. Yet somehow there's a voice whispering somewhere; "give this guy a chance to prove himself, just wait and see and if he doesn't perform or became too power hungry I'm sure Najib can boot him before it's too late" And that's what I'm going to do for the time being...

Cameron trip...
Went for a Cameron highland day trip yesterday. Actually I was prepared to spent that Friday night relaxing at home (well after an exhausting working day) playing my bloody games when some friends show up on the door and drag me along for their first ever trip to the highland. Let me state that I was deeply reluctant to go because I was tired (it was a 400++ km return trip) and furthermore I was a little low on budget.
We spent a couple of hours waiting for sunrise at the quite Cameron hospital's car park before visiting a tea farm in Ringlet. Then we proceed to KEA farm to see how they manage the farm but was disappointed as the only attraction there was the strawberry farms. I strongly suggests that future visitors to try their luck at the MARDI agricultural center in Tanah Rata as they got tons of activity there and some apple trees (hey, I never seen an apple tree up close and personal, have you?) Anyway, we bought some vegetables (murah giler) and of course strawberries.
Overall, a Cameron highland trip is ok for family, couples and sightseers but for a bunch of adventurous friends, it is advisable to go somewhere else. And please be careful when driving down either to the Tapah or Simpang Pulai highway exit, going down the hill is already fast, you don't need to push the pedal some more just to prove something that is not worth proving. Its a hair raising experience expecially when the one who drives had just passed their driving test.
p.s - Life thought me another lesson here. Going for a trip with a couple is definately a no-no except well, you are bringing your other half as well to balance up the team :)

Yup, the Bar Council is one-sided; all the way for the Opposition. I suggest for the sake of justice and not to be a hypocrite, they just disband. Kalau tak boleh berdiri sebagai pihak di atas pagar walaupun mengaku tidak berada di mana-mana pihak, disband jer lar. It is weird to see that when the former MB brought the new MB to court to challenge his appointment as MB by the Sultan, the so called Bar Council inteferes in this political funfare by being subjudiced, putting out one-sided statement while the case is still being heard. The Bar Council itself! What a joke!...Dan tiba-tiba Speaker mempunyai kuasa yang begitu kuat; melampaui Sultan. I smelled rat, but as a rational thinking human being atau sebagai manusia yang tidak cepat gelabah dan tidak menyalahi takdir, I will take the stance that I always taken during a political crisis; wait and see. Just wait and see the outcomes.

Coraline?...
From Neil Gaiman, I present you Coraline. Now, aku rasa orang kurang sedar yang citer ni dah keluar and whats more suprising orang2 yg kuat jugak tengok wayang macam aku dan a few of my friends pon baru tau yang citer nih nak kluar (in fact aku dapat tau yang citer ni Neil Gaiman punya dari web komik Hijinks Ensue :P).
Anyway, this rather dark story pasti akan membuatkan anda berasa; what do omputih says, intrigue? Lagi2 dalam bentuk animasi 3D yang akan membuatkan anda teringat dengan cerita2 yangmenggunakan stop motion (basic 3D) teknik seperti The Nightmare Before Christmas dan The Bride's Corpse. I understand that the producer / director is the same one who produced / directed above stories so expect no less of storytelling. Coraline...

Wedding Sunday...
Last Sunday I attended a friend's wedding at a hotel in Bukit Bintang area. It was quite a classy affairs, with a few notable VIPs attending. Overall it was quite an experience as I was yet to attend any friend's weddings to the extend of hanging out or we Malaysians prefer to call lepaking with the groom and bride after the ceremony. Usually we go for the wedding, feasted and meet the newly weds for a brief time and then that's it. But with A.D. and Bet, it was different. This is the itinerary for the wedding:
6.00 pm - Arrival of guests.
7.00 pm - Arrival of bride and bridegroom. Start of ceremony.
8.00 pm - Dinner feast begins. Guests were entertained by dances and songs.
9.30 pm - Speeches by friends and family and the groom himself. And cake cutting ceremony. 10.00 pm - Wedding ceremony officially ended. Guests started to depart.
11.00 pm - Photo session with friends and family ended. The newly weds, friends and family returned to hotel rooms for rest after a long day.
11.30 pm - I was surrounded by tired companions and notably the newly weds at apparently the living room of their suite. Liverpool and Chelsea were battling it out in the TV but I wasn't interested.
12.30 am - A friend started to introduce a poker set on the table. Quickly he was joined by 2 more buddies and the newly weds. I declared that I will only watch them play as they were betting as well.
1.00 am - Poker game was in full fledged session. I decided to watch TV. CSI was showing.
2.00 am - Poker game was still in full fledged session. A buddy has just lost all his chips. 3 players left. I got back to TV and tried to doze off but was unable to.
3.00 am - Poker game still goes on. By this time my shirt was soaked in cigarette smokes. I continued watching CSI while glaring once a while at the game.
4.00 am - Players started to get hungry so a team was dispatched to buy foods for all of us hungries who were still awake. I decided to depart and say my goodbyes to all. They who will do the buying will drop me off at where my car was parked.
4.45 am - Driving my way home.
5.15 am - Arrived home. Took a shower and landed myself on my bunk. Unconscious for the next 5 hours.
Basically that was how my day goes that Sunday. The next day I got the news that the bride won the game after a 'sink or swim' bet and this was almost after 7 am. It is the first and probably my only experience where the bride and groom plays poker with friends after their wedding. Cool. A.D. and Bet, selamat berbahagia ke anak cucu. Hope you both grows old together, ever after. Rasa jeles pon ada sikit...but my time will come :)
P.S- Owh, my World of Warcraft subscription just expired. That's why the higher turnout of articles beginning this month :P
6.00 pm - Arrival of guests.
7.00 pm - Arrival of bride and bridegroom. Start of ceremony.
8.00 pm - Dinner feast begins. Guests were entertained by dances and songs.
9.30 pm - Speeches by friends and family and the groom himself. And cake cutting ceremony. 10.00 pm - Wedding ceremony officially ended. Guests started to depart.
11.00 pm - Photo session with friends and family ended. The newly weds, friends and family returned to hotel rooms for rest after a long day.

Sudah nyata. Terang lagi bersuluh. Gajah di balik pokok buluh sebatang. Kantoi hisap rokok oleh parents di kedai mamak. Ditangkap khalwat oleh Jabatan Agama yang ditemani squad media massa. Nak cakap apa lagi?
Sudah ler tuh. The people of the Perak and even the Sultan doesn't want you anymore. Let it go, just let it go. Quit being a sore loser although I suspect that PR will always be a sore loser. What? 16 September last year your leader was planning to engineer things like this but on much bigger scale. And now dah kena batang hidung sendiri beria-ria kata kembalikan kuasa kepada rakyat. Biar rakyat tentukan. #### it!
Sadly rakyat dah tentukan. Tak pulak terdengar pasal kembalikan kuasa kepada rakyat masa ADUN BN tu defect kepada PKR? Its proven that PR are a bunch of hypocritic politicians. I hope let this be a lesson to the people that there's a huge different between talking of caring for the people and actually taking care of the people by acting on it. February...
Kejap jer dah masuk bulan dua. Sebelum apa2, aku ingin mengucapkan Selamat Tahun Baru Cina kepada member2 yg berbangsa Cina. Dah lama tak menjenguk korang. I wonder if they still remember me?
I just got the news from PTPTN that I would be required to pay the full amount for my loans as the result of my negligence of not starting to payback when required. In my defense, when the letter came I was already changed my address to Salak Tinggi area while in PTPTN record I was still living in Subang Jaya. Well the blame came back to me of why did I not changed my address when I should be? OK, the blame gets back to me, yup :( Apa2 pon, rasanya aku kena buat personal loan untuk bayar balik but fortunately I only borrowed less than RM10K so it shouldn't be that much of a burden. Time to start playing with the calculator...
Kecoh sekarang dengan cerita panjenayah mati di dalam lokap. As I was concerned with that recent development, I really felt that it was an unnecessary tantrum that the Indian community is throwing over the death of a single criminal in custody. As the authority are still investigating the death, I really hope that everybody keep their emotions in check and wait for the outcome. I believe our police and the justice system is fair, the individuals who was responsible for his death (if it is proven that he's death was from abuse) will be brought before a judge and prosecute. And after all, other races has also experienced death in lock ups but takde pulak sesapa buat bising. Please, you all are not helping with the racial strain we are experiencing these few years.
I thought with my majority of siblings are on the feminine side, I should be able to understand women in-depth, it seems that I indeed lack that understanding. Now I'm in some kind of confused and confounded state and the only thing that I can do is...well, go with the flow? Ah, I don't even know what to do. Women are indeed creatures from Venus. To yours truly, I sebenarnya still tengah keliru nih. Are you interested or are you not? Or I got excited too early? Are you really mad (becoz of that incident) and in a way; "punishing" me by this act of cold shouldering and waiting for me to pujuk? I must confess here that I am bad, truly bad in appeasing angry souls, especially women. So please tell me something becoz I really, really don't have the slightest idea and this guessing game is taking its toll on me...penat siot...

Terima ajo ler jang...nak buek camano aih...

Almost a week since "the line" has been cut off just like that, another virus attacks on JKR Selangor network (maknanya berkejar sana-sini buat virus removal), being appointed as one of ICT site supervisor for the Banting Matrix Project (beban keje bertambah dude), my car got clamped at work today coz I forgot to park it properly after registering my attendance (RM30 terbang camtu jer; tahniah 1st timer :) ). Those sure made day :(
Walaubagaimana pon, in the midst of this sucky week I bring you this song from Taylor Swift - Love Story. Eventhough I once despised country songs and singers as well, but looking back, many of my favourite songs and singers ARE countrys. Jewel, Dixie Chicks, Lee Ann Rimes and Keith Urban to name a few. Everything about this song is a ok from its composition, lyric and err the singer :P
P.S- Yeah I'll be ok eventually...

Well, at last the U.S. has given it's official blessing to Israel attacks on Gaza Strip. Not that we were caught off guard of it but America being America, this is not suprising at all. Apa-apa pun berikut merupakan kenyataan keras daripada Tun Dr Mahathir, pengerusi Perdana Global Peace Organization dan Kuala Lumpur Foudation to Criminalize War:
WAR AND THE PERDANA GLOBAL PEACE ORGANISATIONAT ITS MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 2ND 2009
The barbaric and wanton massacre of the Palestinians in Gaza which started some days ago and is now still continuing is yet another example of the blatant war crimes committed by Zionist Israel since its establishment in 1948.
Supported and encouraged by the United States and Britain, Israel has ignored international condemnation and insists that she has the unfettered right to murder innocent men, women and children on account of some rocket attacks by Palestinians who were retaliating against the blockade of Gaza. The blockade over the last 9 months has brought starvation and untold suffering to the Palestinians. The heroic Palestinian people have every right to take action in self-defence to break this inhuman siege.
The United Nations has condemned this attempt to starve and deny the medical needs of the Palestinians in order to force them into submission, but as usual, Israel backed by the United States has ignored international opinion and international law.
The peace loving peoples of the world must not just sympathise with the Palestinians but must take concrete action to bring the war criminals to justice.
For various reasons Governments will not do anything to put a stop to Israeli intransigence. It remains for the people to take positive action individually or through their Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO).
We propose that the peoples of the world boycott Israeli products and stop all trade with Israel.
Secondly we call upon the international community to abandon the use of the US Dollar in international trade, and to stop buying United States' bonds. Such purchases have enabled the United States to grant substantial aid to Israel and to supply it with the weapons now being used against the people in Gaza and elsewhere. The concerned peace loving peoples of the world must not, even if it is in a small way, be the participants and financiers in the massacre of the Palestinians, the Iraqis and the Afghans.
Finally we call upon the United Nations General Assembly to condemn Israel the same way that the Security Council condemns Darfur, Rwanda and Burundi and to set up a Tribunal to try Israeli war criminals.

At least what we as the ordinary people can do is to pray for all the Palestinians safety and victory over there, donate as much as we can to their cause and boycotting items imported from Israel and to the extend, the U.S. Sekurang-kurangnya...
